Meeting Sadie Kay

I got to meet Sadie Kay!
This weekend I went to Texas to visit with the Stahler family. Sadie is adorable and one of the best babies I have ever
been around. The best part was seeing how Kay was with Sadie. Kay is such a good mom! This was a really good experience for me... it was like baby boot camp. I'm no longer worried about bringing Jakson home for the first time. Kay even gave me the 411 on the breast pump.
.. I never would have known what to do with all those parts if it w
asn't for her!

Pregnancy Update
Okay, so it has been a while... I'm going to really try to keep up with this thing! Anyhow... here is a pregnancy update . I am now 28 weeks pregnant, that means 12 to go:) I cannot wait to meet the little guy. I am still feeling really good, back pain has been my worst pregnancy side affect, and at this point I'm starting to feel a little restricted by my big ole belly.
The baby's name will be Jakson Robert. Kevin liked the name Jackson, and I wasn't completely sold on it until I realized I could spell it Jakson and it could stand for Julia's and Kevin's son. Slightly cheesey, but I like the meaning! The name Robert comes from my grandpa, he was one of the best men I ever knew!

Visiting Dallas:)
Dallas has been a great vacation. We have spent time in the sun with good friends, and enjoyed some really great food, what else could you ask for? Kev and I got to meet Wrigley, Abbie, Mike, Amy, Masud, Carrie, Steve, and many of Kay's salon coworkers, I can see why she loves it here. The Stahler's new house is beautiful...they make it tempting to move here, it really is real-estate heaven! Too bad we have so many amazing friends in Cali! BTW... a big thanks to Aaron and Jena for taking care of our house while were gone. And thank you to Kim and Mike for loving our dear Parker while we're gone.

One of the best things that we did was go visit the JFK Memorial Museum. We are standing in the exact spot were JFK got shot. We were actually in the Texas School Book Depository looking through the window were Lee Harvey Oswald stood as he shot the president. CRAZY! It was a really touching place to be. I highly suggest going there to anyone who visits Dallas.
On my birthday 08-08-08... we welcomed the United States as we watched the Olympics. It was pretty cool, the U.S. came on the screen and there were claps and cheers! I love patriotism!
Us girls had a lot of fun together:)
Our HOT guys!
Martini Park was very fun, the live band was good and the pomegranate martinis were flowing!
I love this girl, she made my birthday very good!
Wow... we are lucky women!
